JASON SOWELL

Jason is a native Floridian and has been in ministry for 10 years as a student pastor and church planter. Most recently, he was the Pastor of Media Outreach & NexGen Ministries, and a teaching pastor at Relevant Church – an innovative, college-age/young adult focused church in Ybor City, FL. He worked as the Creative Marketing Consultant for More2Life, an abstinence education program in Pinellas County, where he was the architect of the popular ad campaign, “Red Letter Rebels.” In 2000, he relocated to Tampa with a team to launch a growing, non-denominational church in northeast Tampa. Currently, he writes student ministry resources, inspirational columns for several publications, and speaks to students and adults at camps and events all over the United States.

Jason is passionate about global affairs concerning people that are less fortunate and in need of humanitarian and spiritual aid, and has contributed to many global campaigns and organizations. He wants to make a personal impact by reaching college students and leading them around the world, partnering with affective organizations, to engage these issues.

In his dream world, he lives on the beach in Southern California and is a pro surfer. In real life, he lives in the city of Tampa where he never actually surfs.
